"This is going to be the best day of your life!" Donald (Barry Primus) promises Sam (Charlie Robinson). This seems unlikely given that they'reboth homeless men mired in the bleak landscape of Los Angeles' Skid Row.The source of Donald's optimism is a mere $20 bill (a Jackson) which hebummed off a passing businessman (Steve Guttenberg). But Donald vows that with that money they can do anything they wish and drags a reluctant Sam off in search of adventure.
Directed by J. F. Lawton, writer, director, producer of Pretty Woman, Under Siege and Dead On Arrival, JACKSON takes place in a single day that turnsinto a cold rainy night. Fueled by bottles of Thunderbird, Donald and Samend up having a great adventure filled with humor, philosophy, dangerand hope. In one of the most unusual aspects of the film, their story isaccented by other down and out characters who express themselves bysinging some of the world's greatest opera arias. From an old drunk (Richard Brown) singing a Donizetti duet with a crack addict (ShawnetteSulker), to a bag lady (Ella Lee) singing Carmen, these surreal musicalsequences stand apart from but enrich Donald and Sam's journey. What begins as a simple tale about two bums becomes a story about the beauty and resilience of the human spirit.

FRANKIE BLUE SPOSATO (Composer)
Frankie Blue Sposato is a film & television composer with a remarkable musical background. Frankie Blue, as he became known, attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music where he studied with Gary Burton, Pat Metheney, Michael Gibbs and many other notable composers. Following a move to California, Blue formed a new wave/rockabilly band called “The Automatic.” They recorded an album for Miles Copeland’s IRS Records. In addition he also wrote and produced with R & B legends, Brian and Eddie Holland (Holland Dozier Hollan). Sony Records signed him to a writer/producer deal and he went on to work with Patti Labelle, Earth Wind and Fire, Martika, Phillip Bailey and many other renowned recording artists.
However, he really felt the strongest connection with alternative rock writing and playing with Animal Logic (Stewart Copeland & Stanley Clarke), and then he ventured into the world of remixing and programming for such artists and bands as Tricky, Garbage, The Red Hot Chili Peppers (Dave Navarro and Chad Smith) and others. He also wrote and produced for such artists as Angela McCluskey (Wild Colonials), Lili Hayden and the Supreme Beings of Leisure.
His transition to film composing came when he met writer & director J.F. Lawton at Columbia Pictures who hired him to work on ground breaking series V.I.P. starring Pamela Anderson.
