Originally released in 1985 through an arrangement with Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab under another Dion moniker, Café Records, it had received very good reviews including The Ithaca College News, where Steve was a Professor and had taught since 1967.  

Brown has toured and recorded with his Brother Ray, Chuck Israels, Sal Nistico, Claudio Roditi, Ben Riley, Walter Bishop Jr., Full Faith and Credit Orchestra and Chuck Mangione.  Other performances or recorded releases include Danny D'Imperio, Billy Hart, Bobby Watson, Jimmy Smith, Barry Harris, Gerry Niewood and many others. He has performed at major jazz festivals including The Newport Jazz Festival, The Berks Jazz Festival, and The Edinburgh Jazz Festival.
